Winemaking: 10 days fermentation with maceration, pumping over and délastage. 12 months ageing in cement with Microxygenation

Toscana I.G.T. Production area and history. The typical geographical indication “Toscana” is reserved for wines encompassed in the following categories:
-Still wine: black and white semi-sweet, red, new, red, sweet, pink, pink bait;
-Sparkling wine: sparkling white and rosé sparkling;
-Late harvest wine.
The need to identify the different wines according to their different origins, characteristics typical of the area and the traditional methods of production, is the basis of the principle of IGT (IGT or PGI). 1995 is the year in which it was enshrined in the birth of IGT Toscana. It is a cultivable area of more than 1,360,000 hectares. The area of production of grapes for the production of musts and wines suitable to be designated with the typical geographical indication “Toscan0” or “Toscana” includes the entire administrative territory of the provinces of Arezzo, Florence, Grosseto, Livorno, Lucca Massa Carrara, Pisa, Pistoia, Prato, Siena, in Tuscany. Wines IGT “Tuscan” or “Tuscany” must be made from grapes grown in vineyards that encompass one or more grape varieties suitable for cultivation in the region of Tuscany.
The geographical typical “Tuscan” or “Tuscany” is forbidden to add anything other than those provided in this product specification, including adjectives extra “fine”, “selected” and similar . However, the use of claims referring to company names and brand names is allowed, as long as they have no laudatory purport and are not likely to mislead the consumer.
