- New vineyards of Nero d'Avola, recently authorized in Tuscany
are planted together with quality clones of Sangiovese ( VCR4,
VCR5, VCR6, VCR19, VCR23 ).

April - Fattoria Santa Vittoria's VINSANTO
DOC VALDICHIANA 1999 gains the Bronze Medal at
the XII International enological competition - Vinitaly-
Verona 2004 in the section "natural passito
wines", first among the vinsantos taking part to
the competiion.

May - Results of the "project for
improving Vinsanto" are discussed at the Cassero, in
Monte S. Savino (Ar) where a tasting of the experimental Santa
Vittoria's "muffato" takes place.
June - "SCANNAGALLO 2000 SANTA VITTORIA"
"SANTA VITTORIA VINSANTO DOC VALDICHIANA 1999"
are selected by "Enoteca d'Italia", an agency
of the Ministero delle Politiche Agricole and official wine
suppliers of Casa Azzurri at the European Football Championship
2004 in Portugal, where - together with Banfi's wines
- they will be served at the official events.
July - 2003 wines are carefully tested. At the degustation
made this month by a group of Paradigma Alliance experts they
obtain a high evaluation: Nero d'Avola has an evaluation of
94/100.

April - We take part to the 2nd International Competition
SOL D'ORO 2003 where we gain the
"SOL DORO 2003", 1st prize for our Extra-virgin
Olive Oil in the section "Fruttato leggero".

May - Graftinh g Ha.1 with Nero d'Avola
recently authorized by Regione Toscana.
Our farm being selected by Provincia d'Arezzo
among the Valdichiana farms we take part to the "Project
for improving Vinsanto" , consultant doct. Tachis together
with the enologists Marone and Staderini. We agree to experiment
new "natural passito wines". A "vendemmia tardiva"
of Grechetto and a "muffato" with Trebbiano grapes
are in the present year program.

December - Prize "VINI DI TOSCANA
2003" is given to FATTORIA SANTA VITTORIA.
The glamourous award is given to Marta together with 8 youg
wine-growers who distinguished for the "quality of
their production and their innovation capacity"

April - We take part to the 1st International
Competition Sol d'Oro and we are given the "GRAN MENZIONE"
for our Extra-virgin Olive Oil - section Fruttato Intenso.
In the previous year we had received the GRAN MENZIONE in
the section Extra-virgin Olive Oil Fruttato Medio.

We also receive the "GRAN MENZIONE"
for our "SCANNAGALLO 1999 TOSCANA IGT".
